Winter came to an end and Kristen, Esther and I headed off to sunny Bali and my first time south of the equator! It was a very restful week with lounging by the pool, swimming in the ocean, catching up on reading and drinking fruity beverages.
On the way back home, there was a storm in Guangzhou so we were able to go out and explore on our long lay-over since we were delayed!
Here are a few pictures of this adventure:

January-March 2014
January was so cold but I got warm with lots of movies, warm drinks and eating. January also brought my next set of visitors to the ROK, Whitney and Mike. I also finally saw Mamma Mia!!
February included Student-led conferences and the annual February challenge (which inevitably turns into an eating challenge)

August-December 2013
August started with the busyness of setting up the Glitter Palace (movin' on up since our days of the House of Glitter. We even have a guest room!), getting my classroom ready and starting up the school year!
September included a visit to the British Embassy for dinner and games, welcome back to school party at the Glitter Palace, hiking up to Seoul Tower, riding bikes by the river and spirit week events and meeting up with my former students, Sarah. She did a foreign exchange program in Jeonju. It's a small world! We also had Chuseok break and headed to Myanmar!
October included a Glitter Palace Halloween party, getting cozy, exploring and more eating.
November brought a trip to Seoraksan (all in one day this time), a conference in Singapore, a 4 day weekend in Manila and counting down to the Best.Month.Ever.
December brought a trip to Taipi, Christmas parties, birthday dinners and long flights home to the US.
